Funded entertainment for 2025 respit care - Night Lights mission is to create safe and accepting environments by providing respite care for children with special needs and their neuro-typical siblings. Night Lights provides a much-needed break for parents while providing a fun and safe social environment for their children who have special needs and their neuro-typical siblings. One Friday night a month, trained and background-checked volunteers provide an evening of respite care and fun.
b. Growth Early Childhood Behavior Consulting/Claire Winchester - Parent coaching / behavioral therapy services to address behavioral difficulties at home and school for a kid with autism with post traumatic disorder. The child struggles to manage intense emotions and has difficulties regulating his behavior.
c. Laradon Foundation - Laradon’s vision to provide innovative services for persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities aligns directly with our mission of empowering and enriching the lives of these same individuals. CathisTable is funding the renovation of Laradon School Life-Skills Kitchens to increase accessibility. The kitchen is used daily by school staff to teach life-skills to teach students with the intent of encouraging independence and self-sufficiency upon graduation.
d. Firefly Autism provides life-changing therapy, education, and support for individuals on the autism spectrum, and the garden plays a vital role in our holistic approach to care. The Sensory & Community Garden is more than just an outdoor space—it is a therapeutic tool that fosters learning, social engagement, and emotional regulation.
e. Growth Early Childhood Organization, in collaboration with Roaring Fork
Conservancy and Cathi's Table, proposes the development of a specialized curriculum to
integrate children (5th to 8th grade) with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) into Roaring Fork Conservancy’s existing youth fly fishing program. This initiative aims to create an inclusive, peer-based outdoor experience where neurodivergent and neurotypical children can learn and engage together through structured, supportive activities. For 2025, CathisTable is providing funding for curriculum development and staff training.

Night Lights provides a much-needed break for parents while providing a fun and safe social environment for their children who have special needs and their neuro-typical siblings. One Friday night a month, trained and background-checked volunteers provide an evening of respite care and fun through a variety of activities including pre-planned activities and child-directed play.
b. Havern School - After a 4 week trial where we measured progress, CathisTable funded yoga therapy for the whole school for 2024.
c. Funded Music Therapy for an Adult Day Program - Laradon's Day Program empowers adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities so they can embrace possibility and reach their full potential.
d. Brought Music Therapy to Camp Encourage - Funded Music Therapy at Camp Encourage in Kansas. The mission of Camp Encourage is to provide youth on the autism spectrum meaningful experiences in which they build the knowledge, courage, and skills to be empowered participants in the community.
e. Purchased a Violin for a Special Individual - Funded a low income single mother's special musician.
f. Trial student sponsorship for Muai Thai Therapy. Muay Thai Beyond Limits is an inclusive martial arts program. They are focused on making martial arts accessible for children and adults with Intellectual, Developmental, and Physical disabilities.
g. Paid for Adaptive Teen Yoga KC class at Power Life Yoga, in Prairie Village, KS. The classes are for teens who have disabilities, are on the spectrum or neurodivergent.
h. The Havern School has nurtured neurodiverse learners, supporting their academic and social-emotional well-being through specialized, small group instruction and integrated therapies. In 2024, to continue to grow its impact and reach, Havern has created an after school music therapy program. CathisTable provided for the initial 10 violins that will allow these special kids to benefit from this new program.
i. Funded Parent coaching / behavioral therapy services to address behavioral difficulties at home and school for a kid with autism with post traumatic disorder. The child struggles to manage intense emotions and has difficulties regulating his behavior. He often has disruptive outbursts in response to demands or changes in routine, and he sometimes argues with adults (i.e., teachers, grandparents) and actively defies requests / rules. His mother has also reported concern that he is excessively anxious and fearful.
2023 Results
a. Funded two service dogs for kids with Autism. One kiddo is non-verbal and the other has significant aggression issues. The animals have already had a huge positive impact.
b. Provided musical instruments for Music Therapy at Adams Camp – a place for special needs individuals to realize their potential.
c. Replaced the broken musical instruments at Laradon Schools and refreshed all their Music Therapy Needs. Laradon empowers children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities so they can embrace possibility and reach their full potential.
d. Funded the transportation needs at Camp Encourage in Kansas – a camp creating impactful experiences through camp and social opportunities for autistic youth. We are working on bringing music therapy to Camp Encourage in 2024.
e. Funded a trial to see if yoga in the classroom can help autistic kids manage anxiety and aggression. The test will be at the Havern School in January. The plan is to fund the whole yoga program for the school in 2024.
f. Sponsoring TACT by funding a walk-in refrigerator and commercial oven for their new culinary program. TACT is a non-profit organization teaching skilled trades to young adults with Autism.
g. Pledged funds to support the Laura Jones Scholarship Fund at Colorado State University. The fund offers an annual scholarship to a student pursing a career using animal-assisted interventions and therapies for individuals with special needs.
